Filing begins today in Perryville for the April election

PERRYVILLE — Filing began this morning for the April 2, 2024 municipal and school election in Perry County.

 

In Perryville, the mayor’s office and three seats on the board of aldermen will be on the ballot:

 

The current mayor, Larry Riney’s term expires in April.

 

The aldermen whose terms are expiring are:

 

Tom Guth in Ward One, Curt Buerck in Ward Two and Clinton Rice in Ward Three.

 

Filing for the municipal election will take place in city hall at  215 North West Street during normal business hours, except for holidays through Dec. 26.

 

Filing for the school board will take place in the school district office at 326 College Street during normal business hours through Dec. 26.
