Boys’ Basketball

 

CHESTER – Chester topped DuQuoin 58-48 Friday and then were scheduled to play Carmi White County Saturday in the DuQuoin Tournament but the results were not reported.

 

The Yellow Jackets host Carlyle Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE — Perryville lost to Meadow Heights 69-59 Saturday in the consolation championship of the Woodland Tournament.

 

The Pirates play at Valle Tuesday at 7:30.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve fell to Park Hills Central 73-33 Friday and lost to Fort Zumwalt West 75-58 Saturday in the third place game of the Ninth Annual Fountain City classic.

 

The Dragons host Saxony Lutheran Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. It will be Ste. Genevieve’s home opener.

 

PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent lost to Jefferson 67-37 in the Rolla “Duke” Herbert Tournament at Crystal City Friday.

 

The Indians  host Oak Ridge Friday at 7:15 p.m.

 

Girls’ Basketball

 

CHESTER – The Chester Lady Jackets fell to Carlyle 64-18. The junior varsity lost 52-31.

 

The Lady Jackets play at Sparta Monday at 7:30.

 

PERRYVILLE — Perryville plays at Dexter Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m.

 

PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent plays Cuba tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Fredericktown Invitational.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE — Valle won at Ste. Genevieve 38-35 Thursday.

STE. GENEVIEVE — Ste. Genevieve’s boys and girls teams competed in the Steve Leslie Invitational at Pleasant Hills Friday and Saturday.

 

The girls finished eigth out of 18 teams.

 

Hollyn Zangaro and Addison Geiler came in first, Maggie Price-2nd, Ragan Picou-3rd, Paityn Basler-4th, Launa Gegg-5th, Linley Wehner-5th, and Camille Melahn-8th.

 

The boys finished second out of 14 teams at Pleasant Hills Saturday.
