PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent beat Crystal City 45-14 Friday night to the Class 1 District 2 championship.

 

The Indians advance to play at Marionville Saturday at 1 p.m.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle beat Lift for Life 47-14 Saturday state Class 2 quarterfinal game.

 

The Warriors advance to host Fair Grove Saturday at 1 p.m.

 

Boys’ Basketball

 

PERRYVILLE — Perryville plays at Kingston tonight at 7:30 p.m. JV at 6 p.m. 

 

CHESTER — Chester hosts Anna-Jonesboro Tuesday at CHS Colbert Gymnasium.

 

STE. GENEVIEVE — The Ste. Genevieve Dragons play in the ninth annual Fountain City classic which runs November 27-December 2.

 

PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent varsity plays in the Crystal City Tournament which runs Nov. 27- Dec. 1.

 

PERRYVILLE — St. Vincent plays in the Jefferson R-7 JV Tournament which runs Nov. 27-30.

 

 

Girls’ Basketball

 

CHESTER – The Chester Varsity Girls Basketball team lost their game against Red Bud High School 53-55 in the championship game of the Sparta Tournament.

 

Earlier in the tournament they beat Trico 44-38 and defeated Sparta 61-42.

 

The Lady Jackets host Wesclin at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 27.

PPC basketball leagues are forming now

 

PERRYVILE – Temperatures are cooling down, but the gym is heating up! Come join us for our 5th/6th & 7th/8th Grade Basketball Leagues. Games will start late-January, with games being played one week day evening and Saturday mornings. All teams will play a minimum of 8 games and a single-elimination tournament at the end of the season.

 

Teams will be selected at our draft meeting, which will take place in late December
