STE. GENEVIEVE – The final 4th Friday Art Walk in Ste. Genevieve will be held this Friday, November 24, kicking off the holiday season in Missouri’ most historic town.
Art galleries and artspaces will be open from 6-9 p.m., offering unique gifts of art and artisan crafts.
At the Sainte Genevieve Art Center on the courthouse square, the Sainte Genevieve Art Guild opens its annual Christmas Art Show featuring work by some 30 artists and artisan craftsmen. In addition Silver Sycamore Gallery of Fine Art will show work by a wide range of regional artists.
At Music Art Love in the 100 block of North Main Street Kathy Hicks and Matthew Standing Eagle will be featured along with live music by Brianna Moore.
On the same block E•KLeK•TiX Studio & Gallery will offer a large selection of small original paintings by artist J Rissover along with collectables and unique small items suitable for gift-giving.
Only Child Originals and Rust also will be open on the same block.
Also on N. Main the Hertich House will have a collection of art by some of Missouri s most famous artists on display and give visitors a chance to see the elegant lodging.
Other businesses will be open throughout the town’s historic downtown district. Most Art Walk activities are free and open to everyone.
