JEFERSON CITY — A 16-year-old Ste. Genevieve boy suffered minor injuries in a traffic crash Friday morning on Route B in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the boy was taken to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital by a private conveyance. The patrol says the boy was buckled up.
The patrol says the crash happened when the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu the boy was driving west on Route B failed to negotiate a curve to the left. The boy over-corrected and the Malibu ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
The Malibu was a total loss and was removed by Ste. Genevieve Towing.
The crash happened about 10:50 a.m. in the 22000 block of Route B.
