Girls’ Volleyball
JACKSON – Second seed Saxony Lutheran defeated top seed Cape Notre Dame three sets to none for the Class 3 District 1 championship.
The Crusaders play Valle Catholic in the Class 3 Sectionals Thursday at 6:30.
PERRYVILLE – Class I District 4 Champions St. Vincent play in the sectional round of the Class 1 State Tournament Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

PERRYVILLE – Perryville plays at St. Francis Borgia tonight at 6:30 p.m.
JACKSON – Sixth seed Saxony Lutheran plays third seed Perryville Monday at 4 p.m. in the Class 2 District 1 Tournament in St. Louis.
Varsity football
STE. GENEVIEVE – Valle is off until Friday, Nov. 3 when they will play either Caruthersville or Kelly in the Class 2 State Tournament.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve plays Fredericktown Friday in the Class 3 District 1 Tournament.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent is off until Friday, Nov. 3 when they play Russellville or Fayette in the Class 1 District round one.
CHESTER – Chester plays at Red Bud in Round 1 of the Illinois playoffs at 7 p.m. Friday.

STE. GENVIEVE – The Valle boys run in the Class 1 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
The girls run in the Class 2 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau also on Saturday.
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve boys and girls run in the Class 3 District 1 Cross Country meet at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
PERRYVILLE – Perryville boys and girls run in the Class 4 District 1 cross country meet at Arnold City Park in Arnold Saturday.
PERRYVILLE – St. Vincent girls run in the Class 1 District 1 Cross Country meet and the boys run in the Class 2 District 1 cross country meet. Both meets are at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau Saturday.
