STE. GENEVIEVE — A suspect in a California homicide was arrested Wednesday in Ste. Genevieve.
Ste. Genevieve County Chief Deputy Jason Schott has confirmed the arrest.
No other information was immediately available, though the news of the arrest is being reported in California.
A headline in the Sacramento Bee says “Suspect in Lodi double homicide shooting arrested in Missouri, to be extradited to California”.
The newspaper says Oscar Hernandez, of Lodi, was arrested with the help of the U.S. Marshals and the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office in Missouri.
