Nedra I. Jany, 88, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 11:56 am, Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.
She was born to the late Steve and Ella (nee Hoelscher) Cassetta on May 31, 1935 in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
Nedra married Donald J. Jany on August 3, 1957 in Chester, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 20, 2015.
She had ran the commissary at Chester Mental Health Center, Chester, Illinois.
Nedra was a member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Chester. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #3553 Auxiliary.
