Janet Kay Zimmermann, 48, of De Soto passed away Oct. 14, 2023, at her home.
Ms. Zimmermann was the owner of Affordable Dog Grooming in De Soto.
She loved all animals, especially her dogs: Aria, Willow, Lizzie and Tate.
She enjoyed the outdoors, horseback riding, fishing, boating and camping.
She also enjoyed spending her weekends in Doniphan at the Current River.
Born March 2, 1975, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Janet (Kobermann) and Dennis Farris of Ste. Genevieve.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her significant other: John Siener of De Soto; a brother: Mike (Laura) Farris of Ste. Genevieve; seven nieces and nephews: David (Alesha) Farris of De Soto, Mikhalia, Haiden, Michael, Daymian, Steven and Ellie Farris, all of Ste. Genevieve; her former husband: Dan Zimmermann of Talmo, Ga.; as well as many other family members and friends.
The family will hold a celebration of life service at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
