David Matthew Hornbeck, 40, of Festus died Sept. 29, 2023. Mr. Hornbeck enjoyed music, photography, nature and spending time with his family. Born May 3, 1983, in Rolla, he was the son of Donald Holt and the late Regina Kite (Wininger) Holt.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his former wife: Amanda Sue Hornbeck of Crystal City; a daughter: Natalie S. Hornbeck of Crystal City; a son: David Matthew Hornbeck Jr. of Crystal City; a grandmother: Bessie Young; two brothers: Mike (Stacey) Hornbeck of Ste. Genevieve and Trey Holt; a sister: Marlaina (Jeff) Wallace; a niece: Payton Hornbeck; as well as many other family members and friends.
Private services were held at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Rescue Mission. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
