STE. GENEVIEVE – Last weekend the Ste. Genevieve Fire Department participated in the 29th annual Jeffco Fire Engine Rally with its recently finished brush truck 7171.
According to a Ste Genevieve Fire Department Facebook post: “The basic truck was bought and the rest was switched from our 1995 by our volunteers. This shows the talent and dedication of our volunteers.”
The SGFD brought home the Award for the “Best Overall Ground Cover Apparatus”.
Over the years the SGFD has participated five times and each time it has come home with an award.
“We will always do our best to build, maintain and use the best equipment that our budget allows. There when you need us,” the Facebook post concluded.
