Eric George Hutchinson, Jr., entered Heaven’s Gates on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, in Perryville, Missouri, at the age of 31.
Eric was born in Chester, Illinois, on February 1, 1992 to Fredric and Betty (Eggemeyer) Hutchinson. He married Chassity (Terbrak) Hutchinson on September 24, 2022 in Perryville, MO. She survives. He also leaves behind his 2 year old beloved son, Damon Hutchinson.
Other survivors include his parents: Fredric and Betty (Eggemeyer) Hutchinson, one brother, Joseph Hutchinson, maternal grandmother, Donna (Johnson) Eggemeyer, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, Father in-law Lester and Tina (Depper) Terbrak, Brother in-law Bradley and Myranda (Pease) Terbrak, Brother in-law Dillion Terbrak and Brianna (Hoehn), Niece Airabella Terbrak, Nephew Zeke Terbrak, and cherished friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Merle Lee Eggemeyer, paternal grandparents, Fred and Helen Hutchinson, Aunt Beth Hutchinson. One sister-in-law Brandy Ackerman, Grandfather- in-law- Lester and Wanda (Brewer) Terbrak, Grandfather- in-law Bobby Depper, Grandfather- in-law Jack and Percilla (Yost) Clark, and Aunt- in-law Barbra (Terbrak) Aurich.
Eric was a member of the Perryville High School Class of 2010. After graduation, he accepted a position at TG-USA in Perryville, Missouri where he established a career as a technician. Eric was dedicated in every aspect of life, and he poured himself into everything he pursued. In his youth, Boy Scouts of America was centric in his life, and he earned the honor of Eagle Scout in 2010.
His love of the outdoors was instilled in him by his father and PaPa Eggemeyer. Deer hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and sitting around a bonfire were a few of his favorite pastimes. Eric was also known for collecting and building firearms, tinkering on vehicles, bartering for “treasures” and the love for his German Shepherds.
What Eric Cherished the most in life was his wife, Chassity, and his “Little Monster”, Damon. He cherished being a loving, supportive husband and devoted father. He loved the fact that his son was a “Daddy’s boy” and enjoyed all the moments they shared. His friends enjoyed his jokes, antics, and stories, and many of them considered him to be their “big brother”. He was always willing to drop anything to lend a helping hand. His infectious humor, big smile and loving, warm bear hugs will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023 and continue from 8:00 am to 10:00 am on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home with Alan Terbrak officiating.
