EVANSVILLE — Christ Our Savior FFA attended the Agriculture Day at Southeast Missouri State University (SEMO) in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
There, they got a tour of the greenhouse and learned about different types of plants. After, they go to go to the SEMO farm. At the farm, they heard from a keynote speaker, saw drone sprayers, learned how to artificially inseminate a cow, and put together a bouquet of flowers, among other activities.
The FFA Members also got to see a cannulated cow, which helps to show students how the rumen works.
