Old Business:
Norman stated that everything is cleaned off the banks and the grates are cleaned off as well.
Norman will try to meet up with Brad Bauman on the road project so we can get this advertised in the Herald.
New Business:
Phil asked about the spur levee that would go from the Marian Road to Levee District 2 levee. Norman stated this is still on the agenda we just need to get with an engineer to have some core sampling done and get a survey. Once we get the core samples they will have to go to the Corps of Engineers for approval. The cost was approximately $300,000 that would be split between Levee District 2 and Levee District 3. Phil will talk to Levee District 2 about having another joint meeting with us to get something going on this.
Public Participation: City Administrator Happy Welch told the board that Fish & Wildlife has received approval and they can finally start acquiring land. At some point the board will need to convey this land over to them.
There being no further business a motion was made by Phil Loida and second by Tom Okenfuss to adjourn the meeting at 5:55 p.m. All were in favor.
Respectfully Submitted,
