CHESTER – Chester’s Noah Homan and Tallen James competed at the 2023 IHSA Class 1A Sectional Golf Tournament at Waterloo Monday October 2nd.
James, a freshman, shot 89 and placed 78th, while Homan, a junior, shot 90 and placed 80th in the 18-hole match.
There were a total of 111 golfers competing at the Sectional Match.
The Top-3 teams and the Top-10 individuals advanced to the 2023 IHA Class 1A State Match.
Both James and Homan plan to do the work to qualify for the State Tournament next year in 2024.
