PERRYVILLE – Perry County School District No. 32 has announced several Perryville High School and Perry County Middle School vocal music students have been named to the SEMMEA All-District Choir following their recent auditions.
PHS and PCMS choir instructor Taylor Davis announced the following students have been named to the All-District Choir.
Anna Abbott, Tanner Bequette, Blake Bodendieck, Waylon Buerck, Chloe Cox, Hunter First, Isabella Iffert, Riley Kemp, Eleanor Maxwell, Gavin Moll, Dominick Paul, Alyson Peeler, Xavier Pfaff, Macy Rayburn, Libby Reed, Ayla Schuler, Jocelyn Schweiss, Jared Stortz, Ethan Timmer, Aidan Unverferth and Grady Warren.
The following students were selected to be in the SEMMEA All-District Choir after sending their recorded auditions in recently.
Brayden Amberger, Lexi Amschler, Wesley Baggett, Carter Berkbigler, Abigail Bridges, Cooper Cattoor, Brooklyn Conley, Lillian Cowell, Taylor Cox, Laura Dunn, Hope Endicott, Abby Erzfeld, Charleigh Geringer, Jacob King, Addelynne Kirn, Kaden Lane, Ashton Mitchell, Destyn Morgan, Garrett Riehn, Kylie Sanderson, Solara Syfert and Emma Taylor.
In addition to the amazing All-District Choir results received last week (21 high school, 22 middle school), Taylor said he was also notified that 12 PHS students were chosen to participate in Murray State University’s annual Quad State Choir.
Seniors: Anna Abbott, Isabella Iffert, Eleanor Maxwell and Libby Reed.
Juniors: Taylor Ebersohl, Gwynivere Newbrough, Xavier Pfaff and Grady Warren.
Sophomores: Chloe Cox and Ethan Timmer.
Freshmen: Aidan Unverferth and Benjamin Kueker.
This year, these students were chosen out of 1,100 auditions from 49 schools in more than four states.
