JEFFERSON CITY — Two persons suffered minor injuries Sunday morning on Highway 32 in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports 60-year-old Hui Xiao and 61-year-old Jingbo Cao, both of Winnetka, Illinois were taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance District.
The patrol’s accident report state the crash happened when a westbound 2017 Camry driven by Cao was struck by an eastbound 2012 Volkswagen which was attempting to turn left. The driver of the Passat 64-year-old Catherine Stanley of Barnhart, escaped injury.
The patrol says everyone was buckled up.
The crash happened about 10:47 a.m. at Sawmill Road.
Both vehicles received moderate damage and were removed from the scene by Ives Towing.
