Tiger Food Fight
Friday, Sept. 29, Reynolds Alumni Center (circle drive) – Each fall, the Mizzou community makes a significant contribution to the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri, which benefits Tiger Pantry on campus. Accepted items: peanut butter, canned meats, canned beans, canned chili, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned soups and canned ravioli. Prohibited items: Ramen noodles, perishable food items, any items not previously specified. Not in Columbia? Honor this tradition by making a financial donation to support the MU community through Tiger Pantry.
Homecoming Day of Service
Saturday, Sept. 30, various locations in Columbia – Join hundreds of local Tigers who are giving back to the community through service hours and volunteer work. Find an opportunity here.
Homecoming blood drive
Monday, Oct. 9, to Thursday, Oct. 12, Hearnes Center – Mizzou’s four-day Homecoming blood drive is one of the largest student-run blood drives in the country. Honor this Homecoming tradition by visiting the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. daily to make a donation or donate through any blood center or blood drive in your local area. Dome lighting ceremony
Sunday, Oct. 15, 7 p.m., Traditions Plaza – Join us as we light the Jesse Hall dome to celebrate the start of Homecoming Week.
Homecoming Talent Competition
Monday, Oct. 16, to Wednesday, Oct. 18, 6:30 p.m., Jesse Auditorium – Students will spend three nights entertaining audiences through skit, song and dance. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Campus decorations
Friday, Oct. 20, 6 – 9:30 p.m., Greek Town, between Rollins Street and Kentucky Boulevard near campus – Bring the whole family for this annual tradition! Participating houses will be decked out with interactive displays, skits and activities for Tiger fans of all ages, with performances highlighting this year’s “children’s books” theme. Food trucks and other vendors will be available throughout the area.
NPHC Step Show
Friday, Oct. 20, 7 p.m., Jesse Auditorium – The annual Step Show, hosted by the National Pan-Hellenic Council, is a staple of Homecoming. Enjoy a night of skits, strolls and step routines.
Homecoming Spirit Rally
Friday, Oct. 20, 8:30 p.m., Traditions Plaza – Stop by Traditions Plaza as Marching Mizzou and the Golden Girls help Tiger fans get excited for the Homecoming football game.
Homecoming parade
Saturday, Oct. 21, TBD based on kickoff, MU campus and downtown Columbia – Strike up the band, alert the mule team and put on black and gold to celebrate all that is Mizzou.
Football game
Saturday, Oct. 21, TBD, Memorial Stadium – Join the Tigers as they take on the South Carolina Gamecocks. 2023 Homecoming Royalty will be crowned during halftime.
