Virginia Frances (Carron) Packard

A funeral will be held Saturday, October 7, 2023 for 79-year-old Virginia Frances (Carron) Packard who passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 at Avow Hospice in Naples, Florida.

 

She was born on January 5, 1944 in Bloomsdale, Missouri, the ninth of ten children of Edwin Peter Carron and Pauline Rose (Jerca) Carron, who both preceded her in death.

 

She was also preceded in death by brothers Paul, Hugh, and Dick, and sisters Mildred Kraenzle and Mary Ann Reed.

 

Ginny is survived by her husband: Tom, of Naples, Florida; son: Michael Pierce of Farmington, Michigan; daughter: Lisa Pierce and husband Lewis Swartley of Chesapeake, Virginia; grandchildren Megan Pierce of Madison, Wisconsin; Jonathon Pierce of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Nicholas, Christopher, and Ashley Daves of Chesapeake, Virginia.

 

She is survived by two brothers: Ron (Marilyn) of Aledo, Texas and Dennis (Betty Jane) of Bloomsdale, Missouri; two sisters: Rita (John) Bergtholdt of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri and Betty (Tony) Ritter of St. Mary, Missouri.

 

Ginny enjoyed cooking, traveling, playing cards, mahjong and spending time with family and friends.

 

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 and 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Missouri.

 

A funeral for 79-year-old Virginia Frances (Carron) Packard will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, Missouri. The Rev. Ryan Weber will officiate.

 

Burial will be at St. Agnes Cemetery in Bloomsdale, Missouri following the Mass.
