CHESTER — The Chester Fire Department thanked all the mutual aid companies and other first responders that assisted on a structure fire in Rockwood Tudesday.
In a post on social media the CFD thanked Steeleville Fire, Campbell Hill Fire, Ellis Grove Fire, Sparta Fire, MedStar Ambulance, Randolph County Sheriff Office, Steeleville PD and Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshall.
The Perryville department covered the Chester fire house while they were working the fire and Tilden provided coverage for Sparta Fire.
