A funeral will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 for 78-year-old Charline Basler of Bloomsdale, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born July 26, 1945 in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. the daughter of Valentine H. Grass and Florence (Parmer) Grass, who both preceded her in death.
She married Delbert Basler November 4, 1989. He survives in Bloomsdale.
She is also survived by two daughters: Janice (William) Ginger of Imperial, Mo. and Julie (Danny) Lockhart of High Ridge, Mo.; a son: Darrell (Kim) Basler of Bloomsdale, Mo.; her twin sister: Earline Grass of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; her brother: Donald (Joyce) Grass of Saint Mary, Mo.; three sisters: Betty (Ronald) Donze of Saint Louis, Mo., Kathleen (Terry) Zerwig of Bloomsdale, Mo., and Sandra Bedwell of Chester, Ill.; a sister-in-law: Sharon Grass of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by: her first husband: Roger Lalumondiere; brothers: Urban Grass and David Grass Sr.; and a nephew, David Grass Jr.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Agnes Church in Bloomsdale, Mo.
A funeral for 78-year-old Charline Basler of Bloomsdale, Mo. will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at St. Agnes Church. The Rev. Ryan Weber and Deacon Jim Basler will officiate.
Burial will be at Valle Spring Cemetery in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
