Glennon J. Grieshaber 87 years old of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023
at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
He was born March 28, 1936 in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., the son of Alex Grieshaber and Veronica (Gidley) Grieshaber who both preceded him in death.
He married Helen (Kist) Grieshaber September 17, 1960. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons: David (Mikki) Grieshaber of Imperial, Mo. and Robert (Denise) Grieshaber of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; grandchildren: Evan Grieshaber, Ashley Grieshaber, Andrew (Kaci) Grieshaber, Jenna (Zach Jamerson) Grieshaber, and Keithlee Spangler; great-granddaughter: Ashtyn Grace; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Donald L. Grieshaber; and a sister: Viola J Byington.
A graveside service for 87-year-old Glennon J. Grieshaber of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He was a member of Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church.
Glennon was employed most of his adult life at the Missouri State Highway Department.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking trips to Branson with his wife to attend country music shows.
He also enjoyed listening to the St. Louis Cardinals games, and praying the daily rosary was important to him.
