A memorial service will be held at a future date for 76-year-old Donald “Ennie” F. Steibel of Red Bud, formerly of Prairie du Rocher, Illinois, who passed away at 8:39 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center, Creve Coeur, Missouri.
He was born to the late George and Wilmarth “Sis” (nee DuFrenne) Steibel on April 4, 1947 in Prairie du Rocher, Illinois.
He is survived by three children: Jeffrey Steibel (Friend – Lynn Toler) of Belleville, IL, Gina (Jerry) Hiller of Prairie du Rocher, IL and Todd Steibel of Prairie du Rocher, IL; a brother: Thomas (Annette) Steibel of Renault, IL; 5 Grandchildren: Daniel (Nikki) Clark, Justin Hiller (Friend Jessica Jeffries), brooke (nathan) Schilling, Megan Steibel and Spencer Steibel; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Charles Steibel
Ennie enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals games, playing cards and going to auction.
It was Ennie’s wishes to be cremated.
