Perry County Emergency Management Agency reminds that Perry Park Center is the community’s designated cooling center

PERRYVILLE– The Perry County Emergency Management Agency announced Wednesday that is has designated the Perry Park Center in Perryville as an emergency cooling center for members of the community who are suffering ill effects from the excessive heat forecast for the next several days.

 

“With dangerously high temperatures forecast in the coming days residents are reminded that the Perry Park Center lobby serves as a cooling station for those in need of refuge.

 

“The center will be open during regular posted business hours, with the exception of July 4 when hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.,” the agency posted on social media.
