JEFFERSON CITY — A 36-year-old Ste. Genevieve man was hurt in a hit and run traffic crash Wednesday afternoon on I-55 in Jefferson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Phillip Kwan suffered minor injuries and was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by a Rock Township Ambulance.
The patrol says Kwan was the driver of a southbound 2016 Subaru which was struck by an unknown southbound vehicle which left the scene. After the impact, the Subaru travelled off the roadway and struck the concrete median.
The patrol says Kwan was buckled up.
The patrol says the Subaru had minor damage and was driven from the scene.
The crash happened about 12:48 p.m. at Imperial Main Street.
