Lela Sue Wright, 60, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Friday, June 2, 2023 after a four-and-a-half year battle with stage 4 cancer at Independence Care Center surrounded by loved ones.
She was born November 1, 1962 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Milford Daniel III and Margaret Carol (Wright) Randall.
She and David Eugene Price were married on May 1, 1982 in Greeley, CO.
She was the most positive person the family ever knew, even while dealing with many health issues.
She had an avid love for her family and a passion in collecting Mickey Mouse and Little House on the Prairie memoralbilia.
Survivors include daughter, Holly Belle (Thomas Jr.) Korando; mother, Margaret Mendoza; two sisters, Marci Lea (Kevin) Wittles, Keelee Ann (Scott) Doan; two brothers, Todd Mikal (Lisa) Randall, Jacobo Wright Mendoza; step-siblings; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Eric Randall; step-sister, Susan Mendoza; step-father, Esteban Mendoza; Holly’s dad, David Price; grandparents, Webb and Gladys Wright.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
Memorials may be given towards funeral expenses.
