JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Park interpreters will use props and invite guests to participate in a series of activities to learn about various topics at Sandy Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site this summer.
The educational activities will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on the following Thursdays:
- June 8 – Fossils, Rocks and Geology
- July 13 – Plants and Animals
- 10 – Local Archaeology
This event is free and open to all ages, and there is no registration. For more information, call the historic site office at 636-464-2976. Sandy Creek Covered Bridge State Historic Site is located at 9090 Old Lemay Ferry Road in Hillsboro.
