CHESTER – Several Chester Grade School students received Character wards for demonstrating the character trait of the month, “Having Good Relationship Skills”.

Each honoree received a certificate and his or her name was announced over the CGS Public Address System. The Character Education Program is coordinated by Cindy Ponder, School Social Worker from the Perandoe Special Education District.
Ponder is assisted by Dr. James R. Beers, former District # 139 Wellness Coordinator.
