STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Board of Aldermen will discuss downtown parking congestion and motorists going the wrong way on Market Street during Thursday’s work session following the regular meeting.

City Administrator Happy Welch says he has been contacted by outgoing Valle High School Principal Greg Miller who has concerns about parking near the school and Sweet Things owner Nicole French who has concerns about motorists traveling the wrong way on Market Street which is one-way east past her shop.

Each sent letters to the city administrator expressing their concerns and proposing possible solutions.
