STE. GENEVIEVE — Dru Koetting has been named the Elks Student of the Month for May from Ste. Genevieve High School.
Dru is the daughter of Jessica, Ryan, and Bethany Koetting.
Dru’s scholastic honors include: A Honor Roll each semester of high school, earning Top 10% every year in high school, being awarded Summa Cum Laude, and winning numerous class awards. Dru has also been involved in a number of clubs and organizations, including Student Council, Mentors, National Honor Society, FRIENDS, and Spirit Club.
Dru is a member of the SGHS volleyball team. During her time on the team, she was chosen to receive the Offensive MVP. She has also been chosen for the All-Conference, All-District, and All-State volleyball teams. Dru was also selected to the academic All-State volleyball team.
In her free time, Dru enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also works at the community center. Dru plans to attend Missouri State University and study marketing.
