JEFFERSON CITY — A 48-year-old Ironton man received minor injuries in a traffic crash Friday afternoon on I-55 in Ste. Genevieve.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Gregory A. Montgomery was taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson by a Ste. Genevieve County ambulance.
The patrol says the crash happened when the 2020 Peterbilt 579 Montgomery was driving north on I-55 went out of control, ran off the right side of the road and struck several trees and a rock bluff.
The crash happened about 5:13 p.m. at the 149 mile marker.
The patrol says Montgomery was buckled up.
The Peterbilt received extensive damage and was towed from the scene
