Diane K. Brown, 74, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at her residence.
She was born January 16, 1949 in Perryville, MO to William J. “Brushy” and Aline Louise (Geringer) Valleroy .
Diane and Lawrence Joseph Brown were married April 19, 1969 in Perryville, MO.
She worked in custodial maintenance for Gilster Mary-Lee in McBride, MO.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Miraculous Medal Association.
Diane was a loving and devoted wife, provider to her children and their spouses, proud supporter of her grandchildren and constant friend to family and all. She possessed a determined spirit, energetic and fun loving personality, always willing to join adventures. She was the “Bingo Queen”. Diane was dedicated to caring for her loving husband for the last eight years of his and her life until his death. She remained steady in her Catholic faith until the day of her death.
Survivors include three daughters, Beverly (Wayne) Brown-Boehme of Cape Girardeau, MO, Barbara (Jason) Griffith of St. Charles, MO, Kimberly (TJ) Booker of Carterville, IL; five siblings, Sharon Folkerts of Ozora, MO, Fr. Rickey Valleroy of Longtown, MO, Randy Valleroy of Cape Girardeau, MO, Bill (Dianna) Valleroy of Jackson, MO, Bruce (Robyn) Valleroy of Perryville, MO; six grandchildren, Katherine Boehme, Amelia Booker, Kyle Boehme, Anna Booker, Alex Griffith, Alina Booker.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister Barbara Valleroy.
Visitation will be from 7:45 am to 9:30 am on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am Saturday, May 6, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville with Fr. Ben Melaku C.M. and Fr. Rickey Valleroy con-celebrating.
Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Autism Society of Southern Illinois and St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church.
