A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 for 73-year-old Peter J. Casetta of Saginaw, Mich. who passed away peacefully, Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022 surrounded by his family.
He was born March 29, 1949 in St. Louis.
He married Catherine C. (Layton) Casetta on September 19, 1975 in St. Mary. She survives in Saginaw, Mich.
He is also survived by two sons: Paul (Lindsay) Casetta of Berkeley, Mich. and Christopher (Chelsea) Casetta of Freeland, Mich.; daughter: Sara (friend Michael Peterson) Casetta of Saginaw, Mich.; four grandchildren: Riley, Hadley, Beckett and Tenley Casetta; and a sister: Mary (Casetta) Strubbe of St. Louis.
Peter was a registered nurse and worked with inpatient mentally ill for his entire career.
He was an active Boy Scout leader, basketball/t-ball coach and golfer. He was and always will be my best friend.
A graveside service for 73-year-old Peter J. Casetta of Saginaw, Mich. will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in St. Mary. The Rev. James Schaefer will officiate. Burial will follow.
