A funeral will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023 for 78-year-old Evelyn “Pickle” Marie Krenning of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Riverview At The Park in Sainte Genevieve.
She was born March 13, 1945 in Sainte Genevieve, the daughter of Permelia (Miller) Seibel and Walter “Shorty” Yates who both preceded her in death.
She married George Krenning August 8, 1964. He preceded her in death.
She isurvived by three daughters: Patricia (Kevin) Gegg of Perryville, Mo., Tina (Brian) Brake of Farmington, Mo., and Lisa (Roger) Collins of Farmington, Mo.; two sons: George “Foz” Scott (Brenda) Krenning of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Kenneth (Melody) Krenning of French Village, Mo.; two sisters: Virginia Ringwald of Sainte Genevieve, Mo., and Glenda Bauman of Sainte Genevieve, Mo.; randchildren, Renee (Valentino) Basile, Andrew (Brittany) Gegg, Jacob Krenning, Joey Schoelhamer, Tyler Schoelhamer, Kaytlyn Schoelhamer, Kaylee Collins, and Emma Collins; Great-Grandchildren, Stefano, IzaBella, Azalya, Keatyn, Collin, Emmitt, Sawyer, Ethan, and Haylee; Several nieces and nephews
She was also preceded in death by five brothers: Melvin Yates, George Yates, Jimmy Yates, Richard “Dick” Yates, and William “Bill” Yates; and three sisters: Shirley J. Straughn, Louise Yates and Carol Yates.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 3 and 9-10:45 Thursday, May 4 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 78-year-old Evelyn “Pickle” Marie Krenning of Sainte Genevieve will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2023 at the Church of Ste. Genevieve. The Rev. Edward Nemeth will officiate.
Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery in Ste, Genevieve, Mo.
Evelyn “Pickle” worked at Biltbest more than 40 years and loved her family.
