The softball Dragons received the No. 2 seed in the Class 2 District 2 Tournament at Woodland this week.
They play their first game Saturday against Arcadia Valley.

Track and Field
STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve and Valle participated in the MAAA Conference meet at Park Hills Friday.
Ste. Genevieve came in second in the girls meet with 151 points. Valle had 46 points for sixth place.
Valle came in fifth in the boys meet with 81 points. Ste. Genevieve was sixth with 52.
Ste. Genevieve’s Kale Clements, a sophomore, won the 400 meter dash (59.35). Fellow sophomore Kayden Huck won the 300-meter hurdles (50.36), senior Savannah Jerman won the 200-meter dash (27.45), sophomore Hollyn Zangaro won the 3200-meter run (12:05.79), the girls 4×400 meter relay team came in first (4:17:48), junior Alissa Grass won the javelin throw (34.85m).
Ste. Genevieve’s first place finishers in the boys meet: freshman Paul Taylor won the shotput (14.76 meters) and the javelin throw (46.12m).
