Brent Allan Versemann

A funeral will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 for 37-year-old Brent Allan Versemann of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at his residence.

He was born March 3, 1986 in Perryville, to Roger Allan and Karla A. (Mueller) Versemann, who survive.

 

He and Stacey Landholt were married May 23, 2009 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo. She survives.

 

Survivors also include two sons: Teagan Versemann and Bennett Versemann; two daughters: Hadley Versemann and Peyton Versemann; two sisters: Rachel (Mike) Braeuner and Kara (Elliott) Haupt; his father & mother-in-law: Steve and Kathy Landholt; his sister and brothers-in-law: Stephanie and Chris Winschel, T.J. & Melody Landholt, and Tim & Danielle Landholt; nieces and nephews: Makayla and Macy Braeuner, Caroline and Cody Haupt, Jace and Bryce Winschel, Melena, Trenton, Gaige, Breyton, Asher and Paisley Landholt.

 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Erwin and Wilma Mueller; and his paternal grandparents: Edgar and Edna Versemann.

 

Brent was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo. and the SEMO Cattleman’s Association.

 

Brent received a bachelors degree in Animal Science from the University of Missouri.

 

During his years in college, Brent worked at the Mizzou beef farm and competed on the Mizzou Livestock Judging Team.

 

He then returned back home to work on the family farm and continued his passion of working with cattle.

 

He was the co-operator of Triple V Farms along with his dad and Uncle Darrell Versemann. He also enjoyed showing cattle at various fairs.

 

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo. and will continue on April 29, 2023 from 8:30-10 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar, Mo.

 

A funeral for 37-year-old Brent Allan Versemann of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Church in Farrar with Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.

 

Burial will be at Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Farrar.

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Crown Hospice, Salem Lutheran Church, or SEMO Cattleman’s Association.
