Marystelle Penner, 91, of Perryville, Missouri passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, MO.
She was born November 21, 1931 in Gordonville, MO to Nicholas and Nellie (White) Schwach.
Marystelle and Royal Curtis Penner were married July 3, 1983. He preceded her on September 3, 1995.
She was a Die Maker at International Shoe Factory.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (Perryville) and the American Legion Post #133 Auxiliary.
Marystelle enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting and cooking . Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was feisty and knew what she wanted.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Vickie) McCune of Springfield, MO, Clifford (Kathy) McCune of Perryville, MO; two daughters, Renee (Allen) Christisen of Perryville, Pamela Johnson of Perryville; sister, Dorothy Ann Stock of Perryville; ten grandchildren, Tara (Jonathan) Taylor of Sikeston, Kyle (Blake) McCune of Columbia, Ryan (Becky) McCune of Tulsa, OK, Nicol (Jeff) Kipila of Perryville, Lesley (Mike) Goheen of Farmington, Joshua (Heather) Christisen of Perryville, Jill (Nicholas) Donley of Jackson, Tyler (Kristin) Duvall of Vilseck, Germany, Cody (Cortnea) Duvall of Wasilla, AK, Tessa (Joshua) Welker of Brewer; 22 great grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Husband, three brothers, Nicholas Schwach, Jr., John Schwach, James Schwach; daughter-in-law, Kathleen McCune.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am Friday, April 28, 2023 at Ford & Young Funeral Home in Perryville with Deacon Direk Hunt officiating.
Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Educational Fund or Wounded Warrior Project.
