A funeral will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023 for 93-year-old Anna C. Winkler of Perryville, Missouri who passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Independence Care Center in Perryville, MO.
She was born December 13, 1929 in Perry County, MO to Otto Leible and Mary (Schnurbusch) Leible who both preceded her in death.
She and Cletus T. Winkler were married at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son: Randal C. (Susan G.) Winkler of Cape Girardeau, MO.
She was also preceded in death by six brothers and a sister.
She worked at the International Shoe Company for 46 years in Perryville.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, being the second oldest parishioner.
She loved working at church dinners, loved playing cards, especially rummy and pitch, and working in her garden.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Apple Creek, MO.
A funeral mass for 93-year-old Anna C. Winkler of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Apple Creek with the Fr. Patrick Christopher officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Apple Creek, MO.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church of Apple Creek.
