Fourth Friday Art Walk set for April 28 in downtown Ste. Genevieve

STE. GENEVIEVE – Ste. Genevieve’s Fourth Friday Art Walk is scheduled this Friday, April 28, in the historic downtown business district.

On the courthouse square Silver Sycamore Gallery of Fine Art will show work by local and out-of-town artists.

The Sainte Genevieve Art Center & Art Museum will show art by many of its 50 or so members, including paintings created in various media, photography, drawings, and a variety of three-dimensional works and artisan crafts.

In the same area the Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center will host what many consider a different kind of art… lovingly restored classic automobiles.

On Merchant Street Brix Urban Winery’s collection of fine contemporary art will be on display and their fine wines will be available.

In the North Main Street Art and Entertainment District Music Art Love will have two featured artists…local residents and sisters Bunny and Lupe Chibitty. The evening also will feature live music by Melissa Corbett.

Poured acrylic art by Sam Conlon will be on display at Only Child Originals along with work by Conlon and other artisans there and across the street at Rust. Masquerade (where you can create your own photo art) also will be open.

New art by J. Rissover will be on display at E•KLeK•TiX Studio & Gallery.

Other art venues and businesses may be open as well.

Fourth Friday Art Walk takes place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Most Art Walk activities are open to everyone and most are free.
