A celebration of life will be held at a future date for 88-year-old Olivia Gielow of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
She was born October 7, 1934 in Bloomsdale, Mo. a daughter of William H. Fallert and Regina Fallert, who both preceded her in death.
She married Alfred Gielow on April 24, 1954. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons: Mark (Michelle) Gielow of Bloomsdale, Mo., Paul (Stephanie) Gielow of Imperial, Mo., and Todd (Tabby Hoffmeyer) Gielow of Bloomsdale, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Kelsie Gielow, Clayton Gielow, Dylan Gielow, Colin (Sydney) Gielow, Kyle Gielow, Lexi Gielow, and Paige Gielow.
She was also preceded in death by son: David Gielow; five sisters: Gertrude T. Coleman, Odile Kohm, Wilma Shaw, Viola Jokerst, and Mildred Pfaff; four brothers: Joe Fallert Sr., Richard Fallert, William Fallert Jr., and Eugene Fallert.
She was a member of the Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
There will be a celebration of life held at a future date.
In keeping with Olivia’s wishes, her body was donated to science.
