Trails Advisory Board meeting set for April 15

JEFFERSON CITY – Missouri State Parks will hold its biannual Missouri Trails Advisory Board Meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 15. The meeting will be held at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, located at 100 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City.

This meeting is open to the public. The agenda will include a discussion of the 2023 Recreational Trails Program grant applications and recommendations from the board on selected 2023 RTP grant recipients.

The Missouri Trails Advisory Board consists of nine voting members appointed by the Missouri State Parks director. Board members are appointed based upon experience with trail use and trail construction, community involvement, trail user group participation, ability to represent other trail users, ability to devote adequate time to the duties, ADA knowledge and experience.
