A funeral will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2023 for 63-year-old Dennis Cecil Johnson of Perryville, Mo. who passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at his nephew’s residence in Perryville, Mo.
He was born July 14, 1959 in Minnith, Mo.
He is survived by: two brothers: George Johnson of Altenburg, Mo. and Jack David (Mary Reliene) Johnson of Woodward, Oka.; nephews: Charles Jackson of Perryville, Mo., Dale Jackson of Elk City, Okla., Raymond Cecil Johnson of Kansas City, Mo., George H. Johnson, Jr. of Gordonville, Mo., Carl Johnson of Woodward, Okla., Gussie C Johnson III of Oklahoma City, Okla., Joseph Johnson, and Mike Johnson; nieces: Melissa Kohms of Bloomfield, Mo., Theresa Maxwell of Park Hills, Mo., Tina Counts of Park Hills, Mo., Lisa Marie, Hally Johnson, and Carolyn Jackson of Chester, Ill.; and several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Ronald Kohms and Gussie “Gus” C Johnson, Jr.; and a sister: Ruby Augustus Harriet Johnson.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, April 3, 2023 and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo.
A funeral for 63-year-old Dennis Cecil Johnson of Perryville, Mo. will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home. The clergy will be Pastor Jeff Everard.
Burial will be at Minnith Cemetery in Minnith, Mo.
Memorials may be made to family use.
Dennis Johnson enjoyed watching T.V. and used to drag race when he was a kid. Some of his close family members would call him “Dino” when he was younger.
