Sainte Genevieve Museum Learning Center announces March events

STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Museum Learning Center Presents Series continues in March.

 

Every Wednesday is Homeschool Wednesday and all students receive free admission.

 

Show-Me Dino Lab Days will be Saturday, March 11th, Wednesday, March 22nd and Wednesday, March 29th. See the Official Missouri Dinosaur Visitor’s Site and see a scientist at work over the bones of the juvenile Parrosaurus missouriensis.

 

On March 18th, at 1 p.m., Charles Duckworth will present on the Missouri Illinois Railroad, this presentation is sponsored by Richardet Floor Covering.

 

Wednesday, March 22nd will include a lesson on Rocks & Minerals at 10:30 & 11:30 in the Theater Room. 

 

Also on Wednesday, March 22nd, guest speaker Chad McCain will present on Exploring Missouri Caves at 7 p.m..

 

Wednesday, March 29th, will be Fossil ID Day from 12-3 pm at the Museum Learning Center. Bring in your fossils, rocks, teeth, bones, and curio to get an expert’s opinion on what they are, where they came from, and when they originated.

 

On March 29th, at 7 pm, Gerald Bader will present on the history of Ste. Genevieve Surveying, sponsored by Ste. Genevieve County Abstract.
