Go Fund Me account set up to help pay for funeral expense for IBEW Local 1 member

STE. GENEVIEVE – A Go Fund Me account has been set up to help pay for funeral expenses for IBEW Local member Charles Raymond Ticer.

 

Brother Ticer, of Ste. Genevieve, Mo, died suddenly Feb. 15, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield. The 68-year-old had no life insurance. His wife, Sam Ticer, is organizing the fundraiser www.gofundme.com/f/g35xg6-funeral-expenses

 

In addition to being a member of IBEW Local 1, he was also past president of The Union Brotherhood MC, past president of The Eagles in Ste. Genevieve, president of The Lion’s Club in Ste. Genevieve, vice president of the Country Music Association (CMA) in St. Mary and a member of VFW Post 4282 in Perryville. He was also known as Deuce.

 

Brother Ticer is surved by wife; two sons, Charles Ticer II and Willie Ticer; daughter, JoLynn Mann; two step-sons, Derrick Lundmark and Brandon Lundmark; step-daughter, Chauntel Kannenberg; two brothers, Johnny Ticer and Bruce Ticer; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his father Ben Ticer; mother Sharlet Ticer; sister Bena Sue Dailey; and brother Andy Ticer.

 

A graveside service was held Feb. 23 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve, followed by a celebration of life at the CMA Hall in St. Mary.
