CAIRO, Ill. – The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling in the Cairo area that the US 60/62 bridge over the Mississippi River will be closed to all traffic for four days starting March 20, and then again for four days starting Monday, March 27. |

The closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 20th extending through Thursday, March 23rd. The bridge will also be closed Monday, March 27th through Thursday, March 30th. Message boards will be in place to direct traffic.
