STE. GENEVIEVE — A vehicle struck a utility pole in the 21000 block of Creek Road just west of Ste. Genevieve early Wednesday morning causing 400 customers of Citizens Electric to lose service.
According to the Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Office, the 25-year-old Ste. Genevieve man who was driving the vehicle was cited for DWI.
The outage also shut down the Spectrum Cable TV and internet service in Ste. Genevieve.
