STE. GENEVIEVE – The Ste. Genevieve Fire Department held its annual awards banquet recently.
Capt. Mike Brocato (far right) was presented with Firefighter of the Year and Captains Justin Donovan (second from left) and Charlie Wibbenmeyer (second from right) and Lt. Bo Caldwell (far left) received Fire Chief’s Awards for their special contributions.
Battallion Chief Felix Meyer was presented a 40 years of service pin.
Assistant Chief Mick Schwent was presented with a 50 years of service pin and a Retirement Axe.
The department wishes him well in his retirement and thanks him for his service.
The department thanked its people and families for their dedication to protecting our citizens and gave a special thanks to Lakenan Insurance for catering the meal for our team.
