CHESTER – Tim Manard was the Special Guest Speaker at the First United Methodist Church in Chester Sunday February 19.

Manard, an employee at the Cunningham Children’s Home in Champaign, Urbana, Illinois, spoke on the topic of, “Biblical Truths as Evidenced in the Lives of Cunningham Youth”.
In his sermon Manard demonstrated several facts in the Bible that were proven or lived via personal stories of various children at the Cunningham Children’s Home.
The sermon was very moving and appreciated by the FUMC congregation. Gwendy Garner served as Lay Leader for the service in the absence of Local Pastor, Jim Oppedal.
