I-55 in Cape Girardeau Co. to be reduced nightly for pavement repairs

SIKESTON—North and Southbound Interstate 55 in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement repair.  

 

This section of roadway is located from mile marker 95 to mile marker 97 near Cape Girardeau, Missouri. 

 

Weather permitting, work will be underway from Monday, March 6 through Friday, March 17. Work will be done overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily. 

 

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
