James B. Naeger 81 years old of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023
at the Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
He was born July 8, 1941 in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
Survived by: two daughters: Lisa (John) Gross of Sainte Genevieve, Mo. and Mary Naeger; a son: David J. (Carmen) Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, MO; three sisters: Modesta Basler of Sainte Genevieve, MO, Mary Ann (Dale) Propst of Sainte Genevieve, MO, and Theresa Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, MO; a brother: Jerome Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, MO; two sisters-in-laws: Laura Naeger of Seattle, WA, and Marilyn Naeger of Sainte Genevieve, MO; grandchildren, Brittney (Farbod Tavakkoli) Gross & Lindsey Gross; Zachary & Phillip Naeger; Many Nieces & Nephews

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2023 at the Basler Funeral Home in Sainte Genevieve, Mo. A military service will be held at 7 p.m.
Memorials can be made to the Ste. Genevieve County Nutrition Center
He was a member of American Legion Post 150 and VFW Post 2210 and he served in the United States Navy. In keeping with Jim’s wishes his body was donated to St. Louis University School of Medicine.
